Hayek- Have I taught you nothing?

It’s been said many times, but I’ll say it again, “there’s nothing new about history, it just keeps repeating itself.” Back when I was alive America was wasting countless dollars on a war. I’ve come back to life only to find that they’re doing it again. I’m very disappointed. The government has taken it into their own hands and is controlling where your tax dollars are going. not only that, the government is willing to cut important things like health care and education just to keep taxes from going up. But what you people don’t realize is that’s only a “quick fix.” Cutting funds from education and health care is a recipe for disaster. You might not want to fund the unemployed now, but what if you were ever in that situation and no health care was available to you? How would you feel? Pretty hopeless I bet. I urge you to consider the bigger picture. I’m not here to tell you to give your money away, and I’m also not here to tell you not to. I want to urge the idea of a free market. You went to work and earned your check, so why should the government decide how its spent? Politics are unorganized, so how can they organize everyone else. You should decide what you do with your money, its only fair.In my book The Road to Serfdom, I tried to warn you of the dangers of government control of economic decision making. But apparently no one listened. I tried so hard to leave a mark but it seems that no one ever learns from their mistakes, no the government, and surely not the people run by the government. But its not too late for you to start enforcing a free market system. Speak and you shall be heard. Take the knowledge I’ve left behind and make a better economy for the future. It can’t g omuch worse than the economy that’s currently in action.

  1. Hi there Hayek. I see that you were also summoned from your deep sleep. I, Ayn Rand, have been called for too. I couldn't agree more on your position you hold on free market. I do believe strongly in the free market system. I believe government need to get smaller and out of our hard earned money that is cut to pay other people's livings when they don't work and do a single thing; just living off of people who work hard.

  2. Hey Hayek, Ayn Rand here again... imagine that. While I agree whth what your saying about a free market and putting your hard earned money where you want it to be, I just have one question. You talk about an individuals right to fund a free market but you also talk about giving away peoples hard earned money to health care costs for those who can't afford it. Whats that about? I mean every man should be responsible for himself. If you can't afford it that's your tough luck! Again, this is Ayn speaking, not Karrie :)

  3. It seems that I have come back in multiple versions of myself. But I agree with what this Hayek is saying. The government has been given too much control over the American tax dollars and is making the economy worse. Maybe now people will start to understand what I meant and finally start to listen to me.

    -Another Hayek.

  4. You took the words right out of my mouth Hayek, the answer is so simple and has been for the past decades since the last time that I said it myself. If only the greater people of America took the time to listen to me then maybe we would not be having these problems today. Why is it so hard for people to understand, you work for money and that money should be yours, is the government doing part of your job for you, I didn't think so. So why do you allow them control over your tax dollars that they take from your well deserved wage. Giving the government this uncontrolled power that they may just take in any free direction that they so decide to is cause for what a shotty economy I have been informed is now in place in this country, it is horrid. Every American should be required to read my book and change all of these processes at once.
